Recalling 1,2,3..?

Oh yeah..2010..

An awesome year. It was a year full of new things, new friends, new experiences, and so.

Let's recall, shall we?

Okay.

This year was my first time transferring school. Ever. Since kindergarten. From SMKBBSP to Sri Cempaka. And yes, blah de blah blah..everything is new: uniforms, class schedule, school hours, activities, surroundings, friends..The one thing I'm sure I did now change was my school bag.

Now, let's talk about my school bag.

Deuter. I have been using it since STANDARD ONE. Mind you, it's STANDARD ONE, not FORM ONE. So, I've been using it for about almost 10 years? And before me was my dad using it, so lets add another half a year. I'm real proud of my schoolbag. Some people may think that I'm using some dirty old rug. Well, screw them. I don't think they have a schoolbag that lasted for 10 years. I bet they change bags at least once every 1-2 year.

Okay, back to topic.

I'm not gonna talk about Sri Cempaka. I've talk a lot about it in my previous posts. So now I'm gonna talk on my personal life =)

Nothing much has changed. I'm still single (hell, yeah~) and I'm still living in my old house with my family and going to Saxon and meet up with my Saxon peeps and go to orchestra and meet up with my gang in orchestra. I still go back to SMKBBSP for special events, like for instance, this year's Hari Kokurikulum (they called it Kari Keusahawan this year, nyeh), Interact Club's "Interact War" which was on the same day as scouts' Kem Keahlian. I still meet up with my friends from SMKBBSP once in a while (though we haven't gone out this holiday).

There are many emotions that gone through me this year. Like around January-February, I thought that my friends from SMKBBSP forgotten me. Around March, the disappointment I felt toward a certain person, but after than we had a better understanding of the situation. Around April, where I was really really stressed to be in the school orchestra for Beauty and the Beast, Around May-June, when I loved school so much because I wasn't in class for a single day that month. Around October-December, when there were bitch-fights around everywhere.

This was also the year which I went to cinemas more often than previous years. I watched 6 shows of Leehom movies, which were Little Big Soldier and Love In Disguise. I watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows : Part 1 twice, once with Lochy and once with my brother. I watched Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief twice, too, once with Shaun, Sherman and Sheryl in Taiping and once with Ying Fang, Ying Fang's mom, Alex, Wuan Di, Yuen Sum, Chong Yann, Kean Huang, Jun Qiang and I forgot <:( sorry. Toy Story 3 was a twice also. I watched once with Nicole, Win Lock, Samuel and my bro and once with Lock See, Lock Sky, May Shuen, Joyan, Lochy and Young Pin. I also watched (not in any order) The Chronicles of Narnia : Voyage of the Dawn Treader with Lochy and May Shuen, Lovely Bones with Joyan, Lock See, Lochy, Chuny and Young Pin, Resident Evil (which I closed my eyes for more than half of the movie) with A LOT of people from Cempaka. Toy story 1 & 2 in 3D with the usual, Joyan, Lock See, Lochy, Shuen, Kyle...

It was also a frequent visit to MPYO. We went there 3 times this year, and the first time was a disaster for me. It was kinda my first time wearing a decent dress with Lock See, Joyan, May Shuen and Joe Kit, and high heels. I walked into the lobby and I saw THE WHOLE BUNCH OF BOYS FROM PJPO and I just PANICKED. I was literally panicking. I remember I kept pulling Joyan, asking (well, more like silent shouting) "WHY ARE THEY HERE?" Seriously, it almost gave me a heart attack. I didn't know anyone from school who were in MPYO that time. 2nd and 3rd time went smoother for me.

Let's not forget about the Bintulu Trip and Expeditions =)

Bintulu Trip. 19th-21st of March I think. More info, please refer to my archives.
Expeditions. I went for Bronze and Gold only. I was supposed to go for the Silver Diving, and I even paid for it, but then I was part of the production and I wasn't allowed to go because it was near to the performing dates. Had no choice but to get a refund. Bronze was to Cameron Highlands and Gold was to Mount Kinabalu. I did NOT reach the peak, total let-down. I kinda cried when I reach Laban Rata. Only Suwei knew I cried (or sounded like crying) that time.

2010 has been good to me. Is 2011 going to be better? No one knows, but I doubt it.

Okay now, very very sampat time. I'm listing down the celebrities I like this year xD

  • Wang Lee Hom (duh)
  • Josh Hutcherson
  • Jesse McCartney
  • Asher Book (not hot, but I love his voice)
  • Jeremy Sumpter
  • Ben Barnes
  • Skandar Keynes
  • Justin Timberlake
  • Tom Felton
  • Enrique Iglesias
  • Adam Lamberg (from Lizzie McGuire)
  • little Daniel Radcliffe
I think there's more, but I can't remember. It's just the male celebrities I listed out. Not all of them are super handsome, except Leehom, but I like their personality or the way the act.

That's all for now, will update soon, ciao.

5 of my "Do-not-like"s

I seriously do NOT like people who pester you to comment on their posts, photos or links.

If you post something worthy to comment, then people will comment. It doesn't make you much more popular with spam comments which you request people to comment.

I seriously do NOT like people to go against the people you yourself hate.

Let's say that I hate you. It wouldn't be cool if I ask all my friends who know you turn against you, would it? If you hate me, that's between you and I. Why are you pulling people in to your business? What are you, 5? "I don't friend her, you don't friend her also if not I don't friend you too"?

I seriously do NOT like Japanese manga, anime or music.

I find that it's noise to my ears. The manga and anime are just..THE FACES ARE ALL THE SAME!! Where does originality stand? Does it not exist anymore? And what's with the clothes which covers less than half of your body? Anime and manga are comics and cartoons, which mainly attracts CHILDREN. I don't think it's the appropriate stuff for you to show children, eh?

I seriously do NOT like backstabbers.

Okay, I understand if you talk bad about your friend when you're in an argument or a fight. You were angry. You didn't think about their feelings. But to betray and backstab them on a normal day, where you talk and laugh with them? Totally uncool.

I seriously do NOT like people who litter.

Hello? There's something call RUBBISH BIN, where you THROW all your RUBBISH into that BIN. How are we gonna improve our country's hygiene level if everywhere is rubbish?

I'm just feeling random.

The movie I love.

The second star to the right, shines in the night for you.

Well, what can I say? Peter Pan has been my favourite fairytale since forever. =)

I used to love Peter Pan in the cartoon. Whenever I see Peter Pan on TV, I would be thinking "Peter, come take me to Neverland please." I mean, how could one NOT like Neverland? It's a place where you don't have to grow up! No schools, too! And there would be fairies, where they give you Pixie dusts, which you need 'em to fly up high.

And to have Peter as a friend, would be so awesome. He's always full of imagination and creativity, and endless games you can play. I love the way he handles Capn' Hook. Peter's so smart and he's so dumb. Although there's no logic in the movie, but it's still fun to watch. The ticking crocodile was funny in the cartoon version. The way his eyes move when the clock inside it ticks, and the look of it's face whenever it sees Hook, classic. The pirate crew, brainless and careless. Where does Hook stand if there weren't any ship crews?

Not to forget Wendy Darling, the girl who became Peter and the Lost Boys' mother. Well, she's not my FAVOURITE character in Peter Pan, but I do envy her A LOT. She gets to live an adventure of a lifetime with her brothers in Neverland. She's the girl who Peter rescues xD. But what I think of her is, she's just a kid. Why is it that she's so desperate about "Love"? But still, I admire her personality and imagination. Her ability to tell a story so interestingly is beyond me.

And last but not least, Tinkerbell. She's this jealous fairy who's always with Peter. Kind of a sidekick? Maybe. She glows so fantastically. I used to love her dress, the green one. The sound of her flight, beautiful.

In this 2003 movie, I love it because of Jeremy Sumpter, the boy who portrayed Peter Pan. For a 13-14 year old kid that time, he was kinda hot, and cute at the same time =) The way he smiles, or rather smirk, is addictive. And the way he looked when Wendy gave him that "hidden kiss", he turned pink entirely, and the evil smirk of his is attractive. There are quite a number of his facial expressions that I love, like the time where he looked at Wendy and turned away, embarrassed, when Wendy saw him, and the time when Tinkerbell died after sacrificing herself to drink the poison which Peter almost drank, and the time Hook taunts Peter about Wendy forgetting him. It was shocking for me that the person who played Hook was Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter =D

Please watch this movie. It really is good. You can find it in YouTube, with 11 parts =)

  7. Growing fat >:(

Nothing else I guess?

2010 has been great to me. I hope that 2011 will be even better to me. I love you 2010.

2010?

Next week's the last week of school holiday, and also the last week for year 2010. *sighh*

As usual, I'm not ready to say goodbye. There was never a year I wanted to say goodbye to. This year's the worst. Saying goodbye means that I'm going for form 5 next year. Saying goodbye means that I'll be sitting for SPM next year. Saying goodbye means that my childhood, or in this case, "schoolhood" ends.

And it really seems that I DID NOT have a week to myself. I DID NOT have a free week this entire holiday. First, it was dance practices for the fan dance. Thinking back about it, I kinda hated it. I had to go back to school for almost everyday? and it was holidays already. After that, it was drama classes and practices for the 11th Dec Concert with 3rd KL Boys Brigade. The week after that was drama classes, where the teacher DID NOT show up the entire week, but I had to go to Saxon from Tuesday to Friday to teach the little kids. And the 18th Dec was the "Rehearsal" performance, which was kinda confusing and unorganized. This week was catching up to outings. I was sick on Monday. I went out with Nicole on Tuesday, since we haven't gone out for like a long long time. Later I'm going out with Quin, Em and Joyan to MID VALLEY again. Thursday I'm going to hunt for a violin case with Teacher Lily and Emily. Friday seems to be free FOR NOW.

Apparently, next week was supposed to be replacement classes for the drama class last week. Meaning, Tuesday to Friday, again. I really don't want. School is about to start, and I haven't revised in this whole holiday. I'm gonna have to use the whole week to start adjusting my sleeping hours, my schedule and such. As much as I love drama classes, I need to rest for at least 1 week.

And you know what? I hadn't got the chance to play DotA this whole holiday. Reasons?

1) I do not have the program.
2) I do not have Windows.
3) My brother won't install it in his laptop because the pendrive was full of virus.
4) There's no Mac Version of Garena.

And to top it all, I hadn't hung out with my fellow SMKBBSP-ians. I miss them so much. I miss their jokes. I miss they're kookiness. I miss my ex-classmates. I miss the way they back you up when some BITCH shows up.

To think of it now, a school hasn't the atmosphere of a school if there's no broken furniture in the classroom, or dirty surroundings. It isn't really a school if you're spending most of your time in class wiping off your sweat. It isn't really a school if the window isn't broken, or there isn't frequent electrical shortage. It isn't really a school if there are no school bells which everyone wish that it rings soon. I miss SMKBBSP. Transfer back? Not happening. It's just that I kinda hoped that I could take my SPM there. My wish before I even transfered to Cempaka. It already is freezing when you're taking PMR with no air-conds. I'm gonna turn into an icicle probably if I take it in Cempaka?

Not to say I hate Cempaka. It gave me a new experience. The activities were awesome, surroundings, atmosphere...

I just really, really hope that the people there, well, would stop stabbing people in the back. Stop calling everyone a bitch, or a fk-er.

Close one eye, open one eye. Make sense?

Bye bye, holiday..

Bored? I am.

It's December now. Half of the month has gone. I still have 16 more days to live my 2010.

They say time flies like a rocket when you're having fun. I say different. I say, time passes faster when you're asleep. I've wasted my holidays taking afternoon naps, which was always more than 4 hours. But it seems like my holiday hasn't started yet. I'm still preparing for this weekend's performance in Saxon.

Wish me luck.

An Evening of Chirstmas Music and Songs

The title says it all. 'Twas an evening of christmas music and songs =)

According to the Emcee of the night, he said this was the first time for a combination of marching brass band with symphonic orchestra.

I guess it was, too. PJPO combined with the 3rd Kuala Lumpur Boys Brigade for this "historical" moment in Titiwangsa Indoor Stadium.

Of course, we percussionists had to go early to move the instruments into the lorry. We all got up before 6.01am I think. Well, I got up at 6am. Reached Tan Yew Lai at 7am and packed and moved everything by 7.30am. We were the first to reach the stadium, too, and we unpacked and unloaded the instruments. Double Bassists were with us, and special thanks to the rest who helped out.

We didn't design the Theory Of Lame shirt as planned. I guess we all just forgotten or didn't care. Lochy and Qian Er didn't mention about this too. So, let it be?

We met one of the percussionist , Justin, from the BB when Qian Er and I were teaching Joyan how to crash a cymbal outside the stadium. He was helping us helping Jo how to crash the cymbals. Geoffrey was there, too, but he didn't help much =P All he did was just laughing and joking there. Maybe he was helping to ease the mood? But it made Jo unable to concentrate.

We ate lunch like beggars =) there were no tables or chairs, so we GIRLS walked straight to an empty space and just sat down ON THE FLOOR and ate. Some of the BOYS sat on a ladder lying on the floor. Pffft. Oh and I saw Wen Chung on the way back from eating lunch =D Had absolutely no idea he would be there. He was playing the flute for the 4th Kuala Lumpur Boys Brigade I think. I forgot he was in 2nd or 4th.

Okay, and so after the lunch was our first performance of the day. 3pm. The stadium was practically empty during our first performance. Like, seriously. It didn't seem like a performance at all. I almost fell asleep before we started playing.

After the first performance, we went to the Titiwangsa Park to PLAY. It was so long since I went there with Saxon. 5-6 years already. We took a lot of photos, and we kinda made the people there angry I think, cause a whole bunch of us were shouting in Chinese and making a lot of noise. We didn't make any racial comments or anything, mind you.

When we had our fun, we went back for our dinner. We were really late, and so the food were almost all gone. *sigh* Just pretend we were on diet. Played Chor Dai Di after dinner before the show started. The audience for the 7.30pm show was better than the one on 3pm. Heh.

It wasn't as fun as the previous performances, though. I love performing in Bukit Jalil a lot. So far, 3 performances in Bukit Jalil was awesome.

It's called APPRECIATING, people.

I bring my camera wherever I go. Well, at least when I have my bag, I'll bring my camera along.

I like to take candid shots of people. Candid shots mean you're capturing the REAL moment. That's what we really look like to other people, what emotion we bring, what feelings we have. Because of all the photos I took, it totals up to 80+gb of photo memory in my computer.

Thus, I have 100+ albums in my Facebook.

Sorry if I'm being mean here but I really dislike people who save my photo uploaded in the internet and then post it up on their page without giving any credits.

Maybe I'm overreacting, but I'd really really appreciate it if you just copy paste the credits into the photo or album caption, alright?

Dec 7

Emily came to Saxon.

Obviously, I was jumping with glee. Everyone can see the happiness in my eyes. She joined drama with us. That made me realize, how long it has been. It was 2 years since our last performance together, more than 2 years. Considering that we were always performing on the same stage, same time, 2 years is a long time. I saw her once last year, only for 2 hours. It didn't matter cause I was so happy when I saw her. It was a surprise. I remember I was practicing the drumset Phantom of the Opera because we were performing the next day. Suddenly someone came in and hugged me from the back. When I turned around, I screamed like I just saw a ghost. I burst into tears that very moment. And I remember teacher Lily closing the door whilst I was screaming =D

This year she was with us the WHOLE DAY. From drama, to orchestra rehearsal, to Mid Valley after dinner. We ate in a mamak outside MBS, just next to the BP house. Joyan said she never ate mamak before. WALAO. Okay, then we rehearse and rehearse, then Qian Er's parents dropped us off in Mid Valley (THANK YOU SO MUCH AUNTY UNCLE) and we went for dinner in Sushi Zanmai. After that, we sort of just window shopped and ate ate ate. Emily bought her DiGi Prepaid Card and Big Apple Donuts. Dad fetched Emily and Jo home after that.

The interesting thing is that Emily kept dancing in Mid Valley. She was like "I'm SO HAPPY" and jumped around the mall. And when we window shopped, she was all "I need to buy this" and we ask "Why?" and she'll say "Cause it's expensive in Australia" xD And we went to a gown shop in Gardens. That was seriously ... The base price was RM3,800. Haha. And the gowns were soooooooooooo "a-hem".

Nov 28.

The farewell party for Vanessa Louis Ng and Jonathan Dominic Ng.

I can't believe they're in Australia now. It's like I'm still expecting to see them every Thursday and Friday. I miss them a lot. A LOT.

The farewell party was morning 10.30am to 2.30pm. We had to go orchestra in the afternoon and teacher Lily can't make it at night. So, no choice. Anyways. We practically just ate at the party. We ordered Dominos, which was insufficient for our big big stomachs, so we ordered McDonalds. After that, we watched a DVD I made for them, which made Vanessa bawl like a baby. It made me cry, too. Damn I miss them.

Orchestra that day was same-old, same-old. Nothing much to report about.

Okay, after orchestra.

We went to Mid Valley =) We rushed to GSC and bought tickets for a movie. Intentionally, we wanted to watch Megamind, but we didn't have enough time to take our dinner, so the choices were Hachiko or Skyline. Since Jo said her bro recommended Skyline, we bought tickets for it. Had dinner in Pasta Zanmai, which Jonathan repeatedly say SO DELICIOUS. It costs us RM95 for the dinner. I was broke after that. And so we bought snacks and went into the cinema. I bought corn in a cup but Jonathan ate most of it.

The movie started off nice. Exciting. It was about aliens. We knew we didn't choose the wrong movie because Jonathan sat up from his seat and had his eyes glued to the screen. But then, the ending was horrible. The girl just said "Jared?" and the whole movie ended. Everyone was like "Wha? It ended?" but Jonathan said it was awesome.

Went home not long after the movie. I miss them a lot. Did I mention that I miss them?

Is there a janitor in here?

Hello =)

Long time no blog, I gotta sweep the dust off these posts =)

I have a lot to blog about in this post. I'll do a brief runthrough, then I'll explain the events in separate posts if I'm in the mood *evil laugh*.

Hmmm okay, lets see..When did I stop blogging....

Okay. Nov 18.

Nov 22 was Ca Mun's birthday dinner in Souled Out.

Nov 27 was the day we went for combined rehearsals with 3rd KL Boys Brigade in MBS Primary School Hall. It was my first time rehearsing with them and I was shocked to see SO MANY brass players.

Nov 28 was the farewell party for Vanessa and Jonathan. Went to Mid Valley for our first outing after orchestra. Watch Skyline, which was a total waste of time and money but it was nice going out with them. Ate Pasta Zanmai for dinner and Jonathan was so super duper cute.

Dec 1 was the Japanese exchange program in school. We were dancing fan dance for them.

Dec 6 was the day Emily came back to Malaysia.

Dec 7 was the day we started the drama class. Emily joined us. We went rehearsing in MBS again. Went to MID VALLEY AGAIN after orchestra with Emily and shopped till after dinner.

Dec 8 and 9 went to mid valley AGAIN

Dec 10 nothing much except attending drama class and sleeping for 5 hours.

Dec 11 was the day of An Evening of Christmas Music and Songs with 3rd KL Boys Brigade. I saw Wen Chung there.

Dec 12, which is today, was the Appreciation Lunch for the concert yesterday and Kang Tian's Wedding.

I'll expand the contents in separate posts =)
