(H)

Teenage life. Once it's over, it can never turn back again.

Being a teen, is difficult. You have to go through puberty, hormone changes, mood swings, high school etc.

This is also the time to worry about your future. What am I going to do after I graduate? What am I going to study after form 5? What can I do to make sure I can earn a living? How can I make sure I make enough money for myself and my parents?

BUT..

This is also the time that we have learned to appreciate things. When we were kids, we never knew how to appreciate a friend or something we love. We go to parties and events without bringing a camera to snap the picture of a lifetime. We never write down what interesting things we did that we wouldn't want to forget about. We thought that we would NEVER forget that day, but when the time comes, you WILL forget.

This is why now almost wherever I go, I will bring my camera. I wish that when I'm working or retired in the future, I look at these photos and the memories are still clear in my mind. Photos mean a lot to one's memory. The photo will never change, but the people inside will. You can then see the difference in yourself and your friends after all these years. You can tell your own faults by looking back at photos years ago.

Camera. One of the best device mankind has ever created. Without it, I don't know how will I keep my memories fresh.

Gold Expedition

I went for Gold Expedition on 28th Sept to 2nd Oct 2010.

To Sabah.

Kota Kinabalu.

Mount Kinabalu

Sapi Island

Suria Sabah GSC.

It was fun. I didnt take a lot of photos cause I was so pooped from climbing the mountain. I didn't reach the peak =( It was 6am and I still had another 1km to go, but the porter didn't let me. She said there won't be enough time for me. I still remember the rooms we stayed in. On the first night it was Peak Cabin 3 at Kota Kinabalu Park. 2nd night cabin 9 in Laban Rata. The 3rd night was the worse. It was room 21 in some Kundasang Hotel. Rose something I think. The last night was at Kinabalu Daya Hotel in town. Room 313. =)

It took me 6 hours to get up to Laban Rata and 5+ hours to get down from Laban Rata. It was raining the whole way, even to the peak. The view wasn't as awesome as I expected, but still okay from the bottom. The trail to the peak was seriously scary. There were about 2km of rope climbing, and it was slippery because of the rain, so it was really dangerous.

Going down wasn't as nice as going up. My legs hurt from descending and NOT ascending. It was raining so heavily, we couldn't skip. We had to go slowly which made my knees hurt. Oh well, I got drenched from the rain, like completely, and I couldn't change when I got back to the Kota Kinabalu Park because my porter bag hadn't arrive. I had to eat dinner with my totally wet clothes and shiver.

*skip to the Sapi Island day*

It was awesome =) like. seriously. awesome.

We played Banana Boat and Fly Fish (RM85!!!). We were separated into different boats according to the activities we joined. In my boat, there were Suwei, Suli, Sarah, Elina, Qi-Shaun, Jane, Ga Luoh, Brian, Ashmaan and someone which I forgotten the name *sorry*. Fly fish was a nice experience. Arm muscles were sore from this. Banana boat was awesome too, different from the banana boats I've been on. We were dragged to the middle of the ocean then we get on the boat then then just bring us around and flip us over. Really really nice. Some people will understand why =) <3 OH and let's not forget, Ga Luoh's face expression was really really hilarious xD

We didn't get to snorkel and use my underwater casing for underwater photos. Really what a waste. I purposely brought that to take photos and...NO TIME == *sigh* Cheras boys didn't play anything at all besides being at the beach. Not sporting, not sporting at all..

After that we checked in to our hotel and had our last dinner in Sabah. We had a really nice time and Encik Rahman sat with us. The animal jokes of his are seriously something xD We laughed so damn hard we felt that we have 6 packs. After that we bought gifts for the gift exchange activity. We were supposed to give the gift to people we prayed for. Marcus got a ring from Cassandra (awwww..), and I gave the gift to Ga Luoh and I received my gift from Kuah. We danced in the restaurant and we went for a movie in Suria Sabah. It was actually canceled because it was raining damn hard and we had to walk there. But God was kind to us and stopped the rain before it was too late. Again, Cheras boys went back to their room and Cheras girls went for the movie. Suwei, Suli, Elina and I went for Legend of the Guardians while Sarah went for Eat, Pray, Love. There was also 2 other choices, which was Detective Dee and Wall Street. It was an awesome 3D movie. We had to pay RM15 for it but it was kinda worth it =) I loved that night.

Woke up early next day for check out and went to the Philipino Market. Bought lots of T-Shirts and keychains for classmates. Had Coconut with Suwei, Navian, Jane, Bonnie, Qi-Shaun, Ga Luoh and the guy whose name I've forgotten *sorry again*. The rest kind of went to Starbucks, which was amazing that Starbucks was full of 35 yellow-shirt students. Went to the airport for lunch and waited for our flight home. It was scary on the plane cause we saw a lady with a seriously pale face and walking back and fro on the plane, looking like she's praying. Suwei and I were seriously scared and screamed a little. The bus ride home was fun too. I got to interview the guys about the biatch (sorry for the rude language). Someone farted and it was absolutely smelly.

It was a great, once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. I love it and I want it to happen again, just hope that the Biatch is not going.

Oh BTW, we owe Navian a lot for not ditching us =) Thanks Nav!!!!
