What a day..WHAT A DAY!! C=

Bwahahahaha!! Hey Harty! I haven't had so much fun since a long time ago!!

It's about the orchestra performance on 12th and 13th of September 2009 in Bukit Jalil. Hahahahahaha..

Sorry, I can't keep my mind of it.. It was so damned fun!

It started off like this..
12th September 2009
10.10 am, Teacher lily came and fetch me. We went to the photostat shop to photostat the pratice schedule and the song list of the performance. We also photos
tatted the song piece. Then, we went to Saxon to get some things then went to the store to fetch May Shuen. In the meantime, teacher dropped me off in Kos Store to buy a piece of black card. Then we headed for Tan Yew Lai. It was like an oven there. We took the T-shirts and music stands and blablabla then headed for Bukit Jalil. Finally!! Then when we reached there, teacher asked the boys to come down and help move the things. Later we set up all our percussion instruments and rested for a while then went for lunch.

After lunch, we started rehearsal. Just then, Yin Hang came. So I
started to go crazy with her. Rehearse rehearse rehearse. Geoffrey keep coming over to kacau during breaks. Then, dinner time. Well, you can say we had a great dinner. After that we changed into our performing clothes.
We had to wait for 2 hours before we can start performing. We were all in a suana, sweat keep rolling down our body. We joked around with a lot of people and some new friends. Well, Yin Hang and I already know May Shuen, Lock See, Geoffrey, blablabla, new friends like Young Pin, Josephine and more but I'm tired to type out.. We had new nickna
mes too! Yin Hang was of course called Bank, Lock See was given the nickname "Screw", Young Pin was 传染给你啊 or 传染, his brother H1N1, Geoffrey and I were special. His was a slam on the table and mine was a slap on the table with a nod. Weird, but that's how we became friends.

We were having the time of our lives. Suddenly, I don't know why, the memories that I've had with Emily last year in Bukit Jalil for the same reason, performing in orchestra, slammed into my head. I went from as happy as a lark into emo. I really missed her, so does e
veryone who knew her. I couldn't take it, so I just went away from the group and spent some time alone. Then Geoffrey had to ruin it, he pushed me which distracted me suddenly. So I went back to the group, and laugh again. There was a saying "If you wait to be happy, you will wait forever but if you start to be happy, you will be happy forever". I like that very much. So I just tried and laugh it all out.

Then the performance was going to start. We went inside to standby and wait for the waiters and waitress to collect the dishes. Then we started playing. It went on q
uite well, actually, except for Sungai Pahang. The pianist thought the wrong signal from teacher Lily and started playing before everyone was ready. Luckily teacher Lily knows how to clean up a mess. And at least I have Yin Hang to keep me company when teacher Lily conducted the four songs. She was doing really well, compared to me last year. The performance ended as fast as it started. Then we all packed and move our percussion instruments and the double basses to the restaurant downstairs for safe keeping. After that we just went home to rest and sleep. A big day ahead of us, AGAIN.

13th September 2009
Today, teacher Lily didn't fetch me. My parents dropped me off in Bukit Jalil after lunch. Turns out that I was too early and very few people reached there. So I waited f
or teacher Lily and Yin Hang and May Shuen and Lock See. When I called teacher, she told me to move all the percussion instruments upstairs first. So, with the help from Yen Ling (thanks again!), we moved the heavy stuffs like the xylophone (or what's it called i forgot) and the cymbals and the stands and everything. Then I set up the instruments all by myself (yeah~i rock!) and waited for the arrival of the four pretty ladies. I sat there waiting, bored to hell, luckily Geoffrey came not long after I set the instruments. But we also didn't talk much, so makes no difference. I waited and waited, then I decided to go downstairs and wait. When I walked down the stairs, teacher's car just pulled up in front. How great can my timing be? So, again I moved the things to the upstairs ballroom and tidy things up. Not long after that, rehearsal started.

We picked off what we weren't doing so good yesterday. Then full rehearsal. After the rehearsals, a lot of people went missing. They didn't went home to shower. Maybe they went bowling or what. Teacher brought cards to play. Measure Up and Classical Snap. Teacher, Yin Hang and I played Measure Up with Double Bassist Thye Sim. Teacher taught him the rules of the game. He lost in the first round but won in the second. I forgot who won in the third round, but I'm sure it wasn't me. Then we switched into Classical Snap. This is byfar the BEST card game. It started off with the four of us, then came Lock See. As the time goes by, more and more people gathered around the table to see what's cooking. Then the group of people who went missing came back and joined the game. Nicholas was one of them. That round was the funniest. If I remembered correctly, the players were Lock See, Nicholas, Jason, our concert master (forgot his name, sorry!!), me and some people also, but I can't seem to remember. We played and played, then suddenly Mr. Chan came and stopped the game and asked us to go for dinner.

Dinner was great, too. Different dishes from yesterday, but still g
ood. After dinner, we wandered around the golf course, taking pictures which looked like we were in Cameron Highlands. Then we went to change into our performing clothes. We got back, and put down our things, and started Snap again. Me, Yin Hang, May Shuen, Lock See, Geoffrey, Young Pin, Young Wei (is that his name? I forgot. I have a bad memory) started playing. Then, during a round, Geoffrey slammed his hand onto the pile of hands on top of the cards, and it hit mine. Well, my skin blushes quite easily no matter how hard you hit it, and I admit, Geoffrey's hit was hard, but not THAT pain. Believe me, I've got worse. So, I waited for my hand to redden up. When it did, I showed it to him. Haha, he was so shocked. We continued playing and more people joined. It became so hot, hotter than last night, some of them actually quit and went into the air-conditioned ballroom. When it was really really hot, the game was "canceled". We went inside and just in time for the performance.

Oh, forgot to tell you, I saw Xin Yi there with her parents. They were having dinner as her aunt was the church member. We played the songs quite smoothly. Today there were "professional photographers" there, recording our songs. Actually, personally I think that the photographers took mostly of their friend's photos. But, we had fun, that's what it matters! The same thing, the performance ended as fast as it started. Then we had our group photos taken!

(I'm the one in the middle, with a "X" arm pose.)

After that, same thing also, we packed the things and moved it into the lorry. When we got onto the car, Yin Hang sang a few words of an old song which made everyone crack up. We made faces to Young Pin the same way he made when he went home yesterday. Then we headed back to Tan Yew Lai to move the instruments back into the orchestra rehearsal studio. On the way back, we saw Thye Sim and Mr. Chan. Thye Sim was walking to his car while we met Mr. Chan in the traffic light. Yin Hang and I sang "对你爱爱爱不完" to them. Everyone was sweating so much, we looked like we went for a swim. The boys took off their coats and rolled up their sleves but the girls couldn't do so, so we suffered. After everything was in place, we finally went home. I admit, it was tiring and exhausting, but it was worth it. It was so entertaining, especially to me. If I could replay that time again, I most certainly will.
