Bored? I am.
It's December now. Half of the month has gone. I still have 16 more days to live my 2010.
They say time flies like a rocket when you're having fun. I say different. I say, time passes faster when you're asleep. I've wasted my holidays taking afternoon naps, which was always more than 4 hours. But it seems like my holiday hasn't started yet. I'm still preparing for this weekend's performance in Saxon.
Wish me luck.

An Evening of Chirstmas Music and Songs
The title says it all. 'Twas an evening of christmas music and songs =)
According to the Emcee of the night, he said this was the first time for a combination of marching brass band with symphonic orchestra.
I guess it was, too. PJPO combined with the 3rd Kuala Lumpur Boys Brigade for this "historical" moment in Titiwangsa Indoor Stadium.
Of course, we percussionists had to go early to move the instruments into the lorry. We all got up before 6.01am I think. Well, I got up at 6am. Reached Tan Yew Lai at 7am and packed and moved everything by 7.30am. We were the first to reach the stadium, too, and we unpacked and unloaded the instruments. Double Bassists were with us, and special thanks to the rest who helped out.
We didn't design the Theory Of Lame shirt as planned. I guess we all just forgotten or didn't care. Lochy and Qian Er didn't mention about this too. So, let it be?
We met one of the percussionist , Justin, from the BB when Qian Er and I were teaching Joyan how to crash a cymbal outside the stadium. He was helping us helping Jo how to crash the cymbals. Geoffrey was there, too, but he didn't help much =P All he did was just laughing and joking there. Maybe he was helping to ease the mood? But it made Jo unable to concentrate.
We ate lunch like beggars =) there were no tables or chairs, so we GIRLS walked straight to an empty space and just sat down ON THE FLOOR and ate. Some of the BOYS sat on a ladder lying on the floor. Pffft. Oh and I saw Wen Chung on the way back from eating lunch =D Had absolutely no idea he would be there. He was playing the flute for the 4th Kuala Lumpur Boys Brigade I think. I forgot he was in 2nd or 4th.
Okay, and so after the lunch was our first performance of the day. 3pm. The stadium was practically empty during our first performance. Like, seriously. It didn't seem like a performance at all. I almost fell asleep before we started playing.
After the first performance, we went to the Titiwangsa Park to PLAY. It was so long since I went there with Saxon. 5-6 years already. We took a lot of photos, and we kinda made the people there angry I think, cause a whole bunch of us were shouting in Chinese and making a lot of noise. We didn't make any racial comments or anything, mind you.
When we had our fun, we went back for our dinner. We were really late, and so the food were almost all gone. *sigh* Just pretend we were on diet. Played Chor Dai Di after dinner before the show started. The audience for the 7.30pm show was better than the one on 3pm. Heh.
It wasn't as fun as the previous performances, though. I love performing in Bukit Jalil a lot. So far, 3 performances in Bukit Jalil was awesome.

It's called APPRECIATING, people.
I bring my camera wherever I go. Well, at least when I have my bag, I'll bring my camera along.
I like to take candid shots of people. Candid shots mean you're capturing the REAL moment. That's what we really look like to other people, what emotion we bring, what feelings we have. Because of all the photos I took, it totals up to 80+gb of photo memory in my computer.
Thus, I have 100+ albums in my Facebook.
Sorry if I'm being mean here but I really dislike people who save my photo uploaded in the internet and then post it up on their page without giving any credits.
Maybe I'm overreacting, but I'd really really appreciate it if you just copy paste the credits into the photo or album caption, alright?

Dec 7
Emily came to Saxon.
Obviously, I was jumping with glee. Everyone can see the happiness in my eyes. She joined drama with us. That made me realize, how long it has been. It was 2 years since our last performance together, more than 2 years. Considering that we were always performing on the same stage, same time, 2 years is a long time. I saw her once last year, only for 2 hours. It didn't matter cause I was so happy when I saw her. It was a surprise. I remember I was practicing the drumset Phantom of the Opera because we were performing the next day. Suddenly someone came in and hugged me from the back. When I turned around, I screamed like I just saw a ghost. I burst into tears that very moment. And I remember teacher Lily closing the door whilst I was screaming =D
This year she was with us the WHOLE DAY. From drama, to orchestra rehearsal, to Mid Valley after dinner. We ate in a mamak outside MBS, just next to the BP house. Joyan said she never ate mamak before. WALAO. Okay, then we rehearse and rehearse, then Qian Er's parents dropped us off in Mid Valley (THANK YOU SO MUCH AUNTY UNCLE) and we went for dinner in Sushi Zanmai. After that, we sort of just window shopped and ate ate ate. Emily bought her DiGi Prepaid Card and Big Apple Donuts. Dad fetched Emily and Jo home after that.
The interesting thing is that Emily kept dancing in Mid Valley. She was like "I'm SO HAPPY" and jumped around the mall. And when we window shopped, she was all "I need to buy this" and we ask "Why?" and she'll say "Cause it's expensive in Australia" xD And we went to a gown shop in Gardens. That was seriously ... The base price was RM3,800. Haha. And the gowns were soooooooooooo "a-hem".
Nov 28.
The farewell party for Vanessa Louis Ng and Jonathan Dominic Ng.

I can't believe they're in Australia now. It's like I'm still expecting to see them every Thursday and Friday. I miss them a lot. A LOT.
The farewell party was morning 10.30am to 2.30pm. We had to go orchestra in the afternoon and teacher Lily can't make it at night. So, no choice. Anyways. We practically just ate at the party. We ordered Dominos, which was insufficient for our big big stomachs, so we ordered McDonalds. After that, we watched a DVD I made for them, which made Vanessa bawl like a baby. It made me cry, too. Damn I miss them.
Orchestra that day was same-old, same-old. Nothing much to report about.
Okay, after orchestra.
We went to Mid Valley =) We rushed to GSC and bought tickets for a movie. Intentionally, we wanted to watch Megamind, but we didn't have enough time to take our dinner, so the choices were Hachiko or Skyline. Since Jo said her bro recommended Skyline, we bought tickets for it. Had dinner in Pasta Zanmai, which Jonathan repeatedly say SO DELICIOUS. It costs us RM95 for the dinner. I was broke after that. And so we bought snacks and went into the cinema. I bought corn in a cup but Jonathan ate most of it.
The movie started off nice. Exciting. It was about aliens. We knew we didn't choose the wrong movie because Jonathan sat up from his seat and had his eyes glued to the screen. But then, the ending was horrible. The girl just said "Jared?" and the whole movie ended. Everyone was like "Wha? It ended?" but Jonathan said it was awesome.
Went home not long after the movie. I miss them a lot. Did I mention that I miss them?
