Perhaps.
A word that's been stuck in my mind for the past few hours.
Perhaps this will only be the furthest we could go. Perhaps everything will be alright and remain unchanged. Perhaps I'm just thinking too damn much.
I can't shake this feeling that what I want isn't really what I want. Don't ask me to explain this to you because I myself don't understand what I'm talking about.
Let me try to put this whole thing in a philosophical way instead of a whiny way.
Life is just like an amusement park (I hope I didn't get this off from somewhere). There's the merry go round, the ferris wheel, the roller coasters, the game booths etc.
In life, you have a daily routine which you follow without fail, unknowingly: getting up in the morning, getting ready for the day, saying hellos and goodbyes to people in school/work, having meals and blahs. Now, imagine being on a merry go round. You sit on that animal/mermaid/cartoon character for the whole ride and every time it goes around, nothing inside the merry go round changes. It's technically the same. You're on the ride and you're enjoying it for the first couple of rounds. On the 3rd round, you start to get bored and wonder when will the ride end. I think this is somewhat like our mid-life crisis (although I think I'm not there yet). Of course, when you're on the ride, you'll notice people watching you from the sidelines, friends, family or strangers. Some people may just look at you and walk away before you even finish your first round, whereas some other people would smile because you're having fun. Just like in life, some people can't bear to see others happy while they don't get any "action" whereas some people (who we call 'true friends') will be genuinely happy for you. Try getting on the merry go round with someone you absolutely loathe. Would the ride be happy for you? Now imagine halfway through you make someone you enjoy hanging out with to jump in. The whole ride changes but before you get to fully enjoy it, the ride ends. Same goes on with life. Don't fake your life with people who can't bring happiness to you because life is too fucking short and when you finally admit or acknowledge that you should spend your life with someone else, it's slightly too late.
Ferris wheel. In case you don't know what is it, I feel sorry for your childhood. To get on the ferris wheel, you start from the very bottom of the ride. I guess it represents your career. You need to start from the bottom and work your way up, slowly. I'm not saying that it's impossible to get to the top immediately, but imagine someone trying to get on the ride straight from the top. Where will the excitement of the ride be? Going down? Everything goes dull there because there's no better view than your starting point. Plus, how is someone going to get into the highest coach on the ferris wheel? Parachute down? Climb up the ferris wheel skeleton? Not to say it's impossible but with one wrong move, everything could end right that instance.
Once you've reached the top and finished enjoying that extraordinary view, you need to realize that your time is up and you have to pass the joy to the next person in line. You have to leave your glory moments behind and get back down to the ground and be humble to guide the next person up on this trip.
Have you ever tried to win a prize from an amusement park but failed miserably? Have you thought that, perhaps if you kept going, and with the experience you've gained from the failures, you could have won the biggest prize in the booth? But you gave up before you tried. It's not about the talent or skills you have, but the experience. So what you have a good aiming? If you've never held that ball in your hands and tried to throw it, you wouldn't know how much force you need it to hit that aimed spot of yours. The ball could be too light for you to throw and reach your target, or the ball might've been designed in a way that it counteracts with the air and flies to a different direction.
As much as I love amusement parks, I'm terrified of it as well. The traveling fun fair kinds, I meant. You wouldn't know that with so many places to travel and all, they might not have time to properly maintain the rides or screwing it in place. Meh.
Midnight thoughts.

Yup.
So I'm blogging again.
Let's talk about my feelings, finally.
The same problem all over again. I don't know what I want for the future. You know how some girls just think that they want to get married to the perfect guy and just live happily ever after with no troubles or burden because it's all left for the husband to worry? Well, I try not to be that kind of girl. I mean, sure I wanna be married to the perfect guy and live happily ever after, but I still wanna live the life the way I want to. I still wanna achieve the dreams I had. It's not like he's holding me back or something, it's just that, people change. I changed.
And I don't know whether I like this me or not.
I don't know who I am anymore.
Come to think of it, I'm an awful human being.
Sometimes I just think, he deserves someone better. Not some hot-tempered, irrational, slobby, jealous girlfriend.
Looks like my New York dream is shattered. No more New York for me. LA? Hah, I doubt I even have the chance to be accepted. Like I said, everyone around me is so fucking talented and here I am, having the talent of the loudest nose-blow.
But you know what? New year, new me.
I'm gonna learn to NOT give up, like how I do every single time. I'm gonna learn to SUCK IT UP and stop whining about it. I'm gonna learn how to be genuinely happy for people. I'm gonna learn how to stop being a jealous bitch in everything. Stop being so hot tempered, stop being so impatient, stop being so irrational, stop being so fucking dumb. Academics aren't all that.
I will change. Change into a better me. For my parents, for my brother, for my friends (who matter), and for him.
New year, new me. Yup.

Say something, I'm giving up on you.
Well, I'm not really giving up on anything. It's just the song that was stuck in my mind.
So, hi. After not touching you for more than a year, I am back.
I noticed that I'm more likely to blog whenever I read. I just got back to reading novels after a long gap in between, oh, how I missed the feeling of frustration and the flooding of my emotions, pouring out like it had been confined for an eternal.
So this reading thing restarted out with Allegiant, the final installment of Veronica Roth's Divergent trilogy. I loved Divergent and Insurgent, both which I read in Switzerland, and I was dying for the third book. I remember googling information about the third book and all I got was Veronica Roth's joke about the third book's title would be Detergent. Anyways after a year of *agonizing (not so)* waiting, I finally got Allegiant. The book started out alright, with the middle part slightly confusing *spoiler alert* because there was so many deception and new characters were introduced and they teamed up with a new gang to fight the bad people but turns out the new gang was also lying and there was more lies and deception and chaos. Fighting and sacrificing and kissing and loving and fighting and suddenly, SOMEONE IMPORTANT DIES. That really shook me. I kept reading on, in hopes that the character would pop up and just say "I wouldn't die, you idiot". But nooooooooooo. The other half has to live on with grief and guilt and remorse. How could you, Veronica. They could've lived happily ever after in a better world which was made possible because of that dead character of yours with perfect little beautiful babies. The book gave me a big nope. Nope nope and nope. It was lucky that it was already late at night and I was alone reading this book because I cried.
So I just read The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, like finally. It's been almost two years that I intended on buying and reading it, but finally this year I got to it and I finished it in a single day. I have to say, I cried. Like a baby.
*spoiler alert*
You don't just create some prefect flawless character (although he had only one leg, but he was still perfect) and then just kill him off. You don't do that.
But still, I find that the story was beautifully written. True love portrayed was sweet but not cheesy, fiction but not fake. They were just, what, 16 years old? And they have to go through all these?
Two days later, which is today, I started and finished Looking for Alaska which also is by John Green. I see similarities of his writing in this novel and The Fault in our Stars. Nevertheless, this book won the Printz Award and it was Green's debut novel. It's about a seemed-to-be boring guy, Miles Halter, who meets trouble-seeking, fun and gorgeous Alaska Young. Again, there's *spoiler alert* death in this story, which is AGAIN a big NOPE for me. It was all so sudden. I kept reading and reading and reading because of the title. I thought she wasn't dead, and they will start on an adventure to look for her. Turns out it wasn't that kind of "looking". The title is true though, they WERE looking for Alaska.
Anyways regarding the title, it was because of this awesome cover by my friend Emily and her brother Jeremy, whose voice I did not recognize because I haven't heard him since like 5 years ago when he was yet to reach puberty.
Have I mentioned, I love reading?

i know it's been months, but seriously I still can't get over my SPM results.
Maybe because I haven't started college yet, but now whenever I'm down, I just think about the time when I found out about my results, and crying because of happiness bursting through my heart for the first time.
I mean, who would've ever expected? And now getting a small trophy from Kasturi for my achievement? It may not be a lot for some people, but it really is a lot to me. I don't want to seem arrogant but honestly, whenever I'm feeling low, I really just look at the scanned SPM result slip my dad sent.
Usually I share my happiness with friends, but... I can't seem to bring this up.

I bought a book here in Switzerland recently. The Hunger Games.
Well honestly, I wanted to watch the movie. I wanted to watch because of Josh Hutcherson. He's the kid from Little Manhattan. He's the elder brother in Zathura. He's the short little brother in RV. He's the 13 year old kid who lost his father in Journey to the Center of the Earth. He's the best friend anyone could have in Bridge to Terrabithia.
Yes. That's him.
But when I started reading the book, I couldn't stop. I read finish the whole book in just 1 night. No skipping pages, no reading between the lines. I read the whole story, from start to end.
I forgot how much fun it was to read a book till on Saturday, the day I bought the book. I read, and read, and projected the movie in my head. I could feel the fear, the sorrow of the main character, Katniss, when her sister was chosen to be tribute for the Hunger Games, and her bravery, for volunteering and taking her sister's place. The suffering she had to go through, the cuts and bruises, dehydration and all during the Games.
And I start to think. What happens if there really is a Hunger Games, and I was chosen.
I couldn't be as brave as Katniss. I couldn't hunt like she can. I don't have the strength, physically and mentally like her. I couldn't even stand to see my own bruises, let alone helping Peeta to stitch up his severe cut on his thigh. I wasn't as smart as her, and as tough as her in surviving.
But, she's inspired me.
No matter how hard life gets, you still have to try your best to survive. Plan A doesn't work, go for Plan B. If you're not dead, there's a reason why. And you have to fight, fight till the end, and you will know the reason. Sometimes in life, there will be nobody there to help you, but that doesn't mean the end. You are the only person who can help yourself.
I admire Katniss' strong determination and her love and caring for her people, sister and Rue. She tried to win the games, not for herself, but for them both. Winning so she could go back and give her district a better life. Winning so Rue could be avenged. Her intelligence has also saved her and Peeta's life. She tried to suicide, together with Peeta, because in the last minute they announced that there can only be 1 winner, instead of 2 winners from the same district, which was a rule they made halfway through the game. But in her mind, she knew. She knew the Capitol would not have allowed them to die, cause there MUST be 1 winner. So before they both swallowed the poison berry, the Gamemaker announced them both winners.
Peeta, on the other hand, oh my god. I couldn't describe him. I want a Peeta for myself. Just like I want a Jesse de Silva. Ugh these books are creating dream guys for me.

Brushing up on..
Okay it's been a month since my last update in this blog. Was busy with SPM trials and all. Can you imagine, for 4 continuous weeks, about 3 papers a day, with only around 1 and a half hour of rest altogether in 1 day? It was exhausting. Cempaka Cheras had to take the JPS paper right after the Cempaka Trials whereas the D'sara students only had to take the Cempaka trials.
So yeah, here goes. The first week of Cempaka trials, I skipped Physics cause I had FOOD POISONING :) And I passed my driving's test. I can drive now, btw :) Friday was Malaysia Day. I went to Mid Valley to study with Nick and Jian Yong. Nice to see them after so long. I went for movies later on. City on Fire. The show was okay, but it didn't show the real history. Oh well..
The 2nd week, we took our exams in the exam hall. All 4 classes combined and it was better than sitting in the classroom. I could feel the "teamwork". The last day of Cempaka trials, Suwei and I went to Ding's house and went to Wong Kok later to celebrate his belated birthday. And we watched Abduction. Suwei found out that I got my license that day.
The epic story about my driving license. It was quite fail, too. I told everyone that my license got revoked because I paid rasuah for the test. The JPPJ people raided my driving school the day I took my driving test and caught me. In the end they didn't allow me to take the driving test and revoked my L license. I told this to almost everyone and was planning to surprise them when I drive to school one day and park next to their car. But then, Amanda was the first to know about it, then Weng Fai, which I told him in Mid Valley, then Ding, through skype, then Suwei. Suwei was looking really tired that day and she said she was exhausted to drive. So I offered to drive her car and she was giving me the "are you okay?" look. She "attempted" to comfort me by saying "I let you drive around Ding's house area" and I just told her I got my license already and have been driving to school for the past few days. Oh well, surprise ruined. At Wong Kok, Ka Ho found out also. Surprise seriously ruined.
The next day was Kaleidoscope. I was too lazy to go and stayed home to rot. Monday was the school trip to Hulu Langat for the Fakir Miskin project. It was my first day to drive to school alone. The trip was practically van rides around a few houses, passing them the donated goods, and leave for the next house. In my van, there's Suwei, Yoon Teen, Zi Ling, Wei Kei, Ca Mun, Moon, Joan, Pei Yi, Weng Fai, Chin Yew and Ka Ho. Farah was sitting in front. After the trip we went to Connaught's McD for lunch. Headed back to school after that and went for assembly.
The next day was the first day of JPS paper. Tiring. So our last paper was on 6th Oct, Thursday. On this day, was my mom's birthday, and I drove to Mid Valley myself to get her a present. I couldn't find anything and just settled with a card. Then when I got home, I saw an envelope waiting for me. It was a reply from the AFS program. I got shortlisted to Switzerland for the Year Program. Un-Be-Lieve-A-Ble. The next day, I didn't go to school. I went to Dr. Teh's for the Health Certificate for the application form, then went to school to pass the academic form to Mr Kam to fill in for me. After that I fetched Ding and Bling and went back to my house to meet up with Suwei and went to Jaya One to fetch Tzu Ping. Then we went to 1 Utama. Watched the 3 Musketeers, and had Chilli's and Tutti Fruitti. Finally saw Tzu Ping's house, which was *speechless*. Had a 2 hour traffic jam back to Ding's house and managed to reached his house by 8.30pm, and I drove back to my house in Suwei's car. I like her car, like a LOT. Dropped Bling off at the LRT station.
Saturday was nothing for me. I finished the whole season 1 of HIMYM. Then Weng Fai came over and we had a late lunch then revised on a little bit of Add Maths. When it comes to embarrassing you in front of your friends, my mom is the best. Sunday was nothing for me either. Someone did piss me off with his rude attitude, though. There's something called "Asking" instead of "Ordering". Who am I to you now? Your worker? You don't even pay me. So start talking to me with a little respect, as a FRIEND. Watched Johnny English with my parents later in Mid Valley and bumped into Joey during dinner at Pasta Zanmai.

Bronzeh 2011
Well I just noticed. I didn't post anything about Bronze Expedition '11.
I don't remember much from it already. I regret not writing it earlier. OH WELL, better late than never. So here goes...
Bronze this year was on the 8th to 9th of April. Last year it was at Gunung Berembun, Cameron Highlands. This year we went to Gombak. Last year D'sara cempakans kinda dominated the whole Bronze, but this year, THIS YEAR, Cheras FORM FIVE cempakans dominated the whole bronze *insert evil smirk*
So yeah, I didn't get to experience the bus ride from school that day. Wei Kei, Suwei and I went for the MSSKL Basketball Competition, along with Chee Cheng, Nichola, Dianna and Celine. Only Suwei, Wei Kei, Celine and I went for Bronze. We won the match that day, so it kinda boosted our energy level on the way there. And when we reached, we were like divas. Everyone had to walk down the road because the bus couldn't go through the narrow road, BUT we were on a van, so they stopped us right in front of the camp. When we reached there, they already had the tents set up and they were going through the first briefing.
While we were in Kuen Cheng, we got to know that me, Suwei and Wei Kei were on the same group along with Ding and Weng Fai. It was a total relief they didn't separate us. Amanda joined us in the group after that because of some reason, and supposingly TIAM JUN was going to join our group. Thank goodness En.Ku said no exchange in groups, but with Amanda as the exceptional case :)
So, we named our group Team Sakai. It was Amanda's idea. Our group members are:
Ding (Captain)
Weng Fai (Captain)
Wei Kei (Co-Captain)
Suwei
Amanda
Imran
Qqayum
Rizal
and 2 form 1 girls which I've forgotten their names. SORRY!
And...Mr.Vikki as our team teacher :)
Explanation :
Weng Fai was supposed to be the captain for our team, but then after that he kinda stepped down and Ding took over.
Qqayum and Rizal are the form 1 boys. They are not the form 5 Qqayum and Rizal. The form 5 Rizal was at another group and Qqayum didn't join Bronze.
The 2 form 1 girls. They didn't talk much.
Okay.
So we started off with designing our team flags and coming up with a war cry. Our flag was just the word SAKAI and a logo thingy. Our logo was a spear and a shield used by the real Sakai. Our war cry was epicly awesome. Here it goes.
Weng Fai/Ding : SAKAI!!!!
All : WE FIGHT!!!!
Weng Fai/Ding : SAKAI!!!!!
All : WE WIN!!!!!
Weng Fai/Ding : WE SHOUT.......?!?
All : SAKAI!!!!
Girls : OooEeeOooEeeOooEee!!!
Boys : *some fail stomping clapping thing*
All : OMPH!!!!
Yeah. I can kinda say that we have the most awesome war cry.
Then after that it was team building games. It was the curtain call thingy. I don't know what is the real name of the game, but they used something to act as a curtain, when the curtain comes down, you have to shout out the name of the person behind the curtain. Then after that it was the Goreng Pisang game. It was like "Goreng pisang, goreng pisang, goreng pisang sekarang....Pisang apa, pisang apa, pisang apa sekarang?" and then you have to continue with "Pisang xxxx......" so and so forth. On our team we had Jiha, Ana and Tengku helping while on the rival team they had Pn Nor, En Hilmi helping them. BUT we won them, FAIR AND SQUARE. Then we had this Bombay Bomb game. HAHA It was nice. All the teams have to think up of a country's name, then like send bombs by saying "Bombay bomb, Bombay bomb, Bombay bomb to XXX bomb." then the team whose country was mention has to repeat and bomb to another country. After that we went into the river, and the fun part begins..
We all sat with our own team, and then had to make the alphabets they say within 3o seconds. The water was cold and the current was strong. Plus, the rocks were slippery. But it was fun, and we did complete them all I think. After that we just played in the river and wait for the Group A people to return.
We didn't have the chance to play War Game. Last year it was syrup bomb. It was sticky and disgusting, but fun. We were way behind schedule this year. After dinner and shower, I was really really pooped. But then there's still this night orientation and we had to wait for few hours till our turn. After that, 2am Night trekking. Was damn tired and damn dark and damn scary. Luckily Wei Kei and Ding and Imran was with me. Had to cross rivers and made our pants wet.
We reached the end of the trail by 3.30am like that. The end of the trail was the side of the highway to Genting. Lame, I know. Was about 4am when we reached our tents. Without further disruptions, we went to bed.
Woke up around 7am and had to get ready to go for the waterfall absailing and survivor cooking. Our survivor cooking was FAIL. The only edible food that we made, was eaten by all of us. Our fire couldn't start, Qqayum stepped on the egg, sand keeps going into the flour. So yeah, we kinda gave up on survivor cooking. Waterfall absailing was nice, but I slipped and bang onto the cliff and had a bad bruise on my left shin. The scar is still there till now. Heh. Had some conflicts with the teachers because they wanted to cancel the activity but then almost half of the people hadn't got the chance to go for it. We complained and asked for a refund and kinda made the teachers go mad. Well, everyone of us hate that one particular teacher.
Bronze ended badly because we were all seperated when we went home. Plus that particular teacher made things worse. But nevertheless, Team Sakai is the best.
Oh and for the video of everything in bronze, click here. :) Credits to Jiaying and enjoy the video, please :)

IU Day
Well, I attended Cempaka's IU Day this year. IU Day stands for International Understanding Day. And I don't really have a choice. It was during formal assembly on 1st August, and everyone had to attend it.
It's not that I'm complaining or anything. I get to see the Form 5's dance. It was all kinds of awesome. The other performances were so-so. But I really kesian the Interactors. They didn't earn anything from this year's IU day, well, they didn't earn anything financially la. And there were few schools joining.
AND SMKBBSP JOINED CEMPAKA'S IU DAY!!! Can you even? All kinds of hyped explosions were happening inside me. What chance do you get to have my SMKBBSP peeps over here in Cempaka? Qiang was supposed to come, and so was Alex, but they last minute FFK. Oh well, their loss :) Not bad la. I got to show them around a bit. Now they finally know why I spend so much time in school :)
Here are some photos from the IU day:

Loud Festival 2011
Loud Festival 2011. This was held in Bukit Jalil Putra Indoor Stadium. 1 word - AWESOME.
Well the concert started off with a few singers which I don't know, then Soda Green or something :P then a girl, then Cindy something, then Jay Chou.
Although I never heard of most of the songs, I enjoyed myself there. I went with Weng Fai and his sister and her boyfriend. Syok sendiri there :D
The first song of Jay's was Ben Cao Gang Mu, a song which we used during last year's fan dance. We were like "OH MAI GAWD" and danced in our seats :D We so awesome. Took some photos but it looks crappy. Weng Fai's phone took better photos of the concert :P
Here are some :

Was shouting throughout the concert :D too hyped!

Big Splash '11
Yes. The long-awaited event is finally here. BIG SPLASH!!
For those who don't know what Big Splash is, it's kind of a Cempaka Tradition where after they announce the first house cup, the losing house captain will be thrown into the pool by the other 3 house captains. Then after that all graduating seniors will make their final leap into the pool, thus ending the sports house events of the year.
And this year, HARIMAU WON AGAIN!!! 2 consecutive years!! Kinda lucky cause since I got into Cempaka, Harimau won on the 2 years I've been here. Nice.
When then announced the results, some of us form 5 Harimaus were sitting in a circle holding hands and praying :D
Big Splash was epic. I was kena thrown/pushed/tackled into the pool for dunno HOW MANY TIMES! I brought my underwater casing for my camera and so did Farah. Took A LOT of photos and we danced Ultraman :D The swimming coach joined us in the pool. It was really really really really really really fun. We played until break time and went up to shower and continued with the rest of the school day.
Dammit la I love that day. Thanks a lot Farah, Khay Wenn and Lai Kiat for the camera. Thanks a lot Weng Fai for tackling me into the water. Thanks a lot Suwei for asking him to do that. Thanks a lot coach for taking our photos. Thanks a lot Ding and Vincent for hogging the girls' shower. Thanks a lot fellow Harimau members. Thanks a lot fellow SELARIMAU members. I love you guys, to the maximum.

FHC '11
FHC presentation is tomorrow. GAN JEONG des.
FHC stands for First House Cup, by the way. We definitely didn't have this in SMKBBSP. Well, we have, but it's just a crammy old trophy which no one bothers to win it. The only way to win trophy was "do well in Sports Day" whereas in Cempaka, you'll have to conquer Swimming Gala, Games Carnival, Sports Day, Interhouse Dance, Interhouse Debate, Interhouse Quiz and CeMA to get a solid leading spot. So far, Harimaus won in the Interhouse Debate and Sports Day. I'm not sure of our standings now, but I am proud to say I am a Harimau, no matter what is the result.
I regret for not contributing much for Harimau earlier this year, especially in Swimming Gala. I apologize for not helping out at the Harimau Booth or participating in the SFA for swimming gala.
But I hope I did contribute for Sports Day and Games Carnival as well as the SFA Games Carnival. I did my best to help Harimau, although it wasn't much.
Anyways, last week was the SFA Games Carnival. Everyone is required to play 4 sports, Football, Netball, Frisbee and Handball. Football was on Monday 18th July and our first match was against Beruang. Oh Joy. They won us, 1-0. Oh well, we only had four players and we had to play for the whole 15 minutes, plus we've never played football before. 1-0 is still good la. On tuesday we played against Helang and we won 1-0, with Farah kic
king the winning point. BUT THEN, Helang misunderstood and put in 1 less member to the game and demanded a rematch. Yes, we were all pissed at this. What to do? Rematch lo. Next day was Netball, against Beruang for the 1st match. We won them 6-4, and I did 3 of the shots!! Helang and Seladang were on the next day, where we lost to Helang 6-2 and we won Seladang 6-0 I think. Then Frisbee was on the next day. They reduced the time for the game and we only played for the 1st half. We won beruang, 3-0. I forgot our score with Helang but we won Seladang. Handball was on Saturday. We tied with Beruang 0-0 but lost to Helang. We won Seladangs again, with Ana making her winning shot. After that was EPIC. We watched the Selarimau match in Handball and Netball, where Harimau boys won both. Handball was entertaining, but Netball was an absolute Comedy.
There's something about the Harimau boys which makes them so funny. First, Navian did an own goal for Soccer. Then, Weng Fai was jumping with one foot holding the handball for several times then was considered "travelling". AND THEN the NETBALL GAME. Ching Yong was doing Volleyball and slapping the ball twice in a row. I got the video from Farah and I'm gonna watch it whenever I feel emo :D
I love Selarimau. Mostly because Su and Amandy and Yoon is in Seladang. So I enjoyed most of our matches together. It was always a friendly match and we always HUG each other when we finished the game, unlike with SOME houses, where they don't even want a handshake with you. It's called sportsmanship, people. Learn it up, seriously.
Today was the Interhouse Quiz and CeMA. I was involved in the CeMA for the tear jerker. Bryan was my son, Navian was Bryan's classmate and Weng Fai was the "rapist". I was the *wait for it* Mom At Nineteen. The introduction to the movie was....VERY INTERESTING. It'll be on youtube soon, and I'm gonna get it from Jiaying. A million thanks to everyone in the iMovie and Jiaying, our editor and director and cinematographer. I was in the Physical Challenge for the quiz today, along with Farah, Chin Yew, Weng Fai, Ching Yong, Jit Kian, Naqeeb and Amanda. We were required to compose lyrics related to our house with a song from seussical and choreograph a dance for it. It had to be 1 minute long and we were only given 30 minutes to prepare for it. It was fun, a bit fail, but FUN. We got 3/5 for dance and 3/5 for lyrics. Okay la, not bad :)
Here are some of the photos, well, camwhore photos we took during Maths Olympiad, Interhouse Debate, Quiz and SFA.

We went for Seussical this year too. FYI Seussical is this year's Cempaka Box Office Production. I personally think that BatB was better. There were more jokes and dialogues in BatB. Nonetheless, I enjoyed myself there. It felt nice to see the orchestra people again and looking at their fully signed hands made me realize how much I miss BatB. I went for the finale night. They did 2 music videos this year. TWO!! One was Raise Your Glass, which I am damn jealous about, and another was Fireworks. FIREWORKS WAS DAMMMMN AWESOME!!! They did the reverse trick and it was. AMAZING. We had the most fun before the show, when we ran around on the field. It was nice, no one was around and I get to release some stress and shout a bit. Photos are on the way.

Julian will be leaving to UK this september and Emma will be leaving for Perth forever. I will miss you guys A LOT please remember us. I love you 2.

UPDATES
I KNOW.
It's been like a century since I've posted anything up here. Well finally today I feel like writing down EVERYTHING (almost) and so, yeah..
Let's see now, my last post was about Games Carnival. So now I'll talk about INTERHOUSE DANCE :)
INTERHOUSE DANCE '11, 29th April.
They canceled off cheerleading this year and replaced with interhouse dance competition. I was a bit disappointed because I was thinking of trying out cheerleading. Oh well. We trained HARD for this dance. We danced to the song Miss Independant and Dead & Gone. For the video, click here. The practices were the best part of this. Our dancers include :
- Phoebe and Weng Fai
- Farah and Ching Yong
- Syazana and Chin Yew
- Najiha and Bryan
- Me and Navian
Practice is always funny. Ching Yong doing his dead fish. Bryan and Navian doing the Ninja Run. Everyone of us doing the Harimau "Scooby Dooby Doo" move. Saying DES to every sentence. Fooling around trying to figure out the dance steps. And Domino's during 1 of the practice :D Always rushing to book the studio before the other houses do. The most epic practice was when we were stuck in the small practice room in CPAC because the Dance Studio 1 was taken by Seladangs. They were spamming the "ENJOOOOOOOOOOY" in the beginning of the song. And dancing to the song Begging. IT WAS THE BEST! We got 2nd in our category, Seladang 3rd and Beruang 1st. Personally, I think Helang did a VERY VERY GOOD JOB. I loved their dance. I reached school around 6.30? I forgot it was 5.30 or 6.30. I think it's 6.30am. Booked the North Hall for a short practice and went to get ready. It was a good day :) We went up on the stage while the judges were calculating the marks and danced like mad. The pros were doing their popping, locking or breaking or whatever and we were actually just watching as audience. Then we, the Harimau Category 3, decided to go up and own them with our "Scooby Doo" dance. When we got up, about everyone from category 3 Cheras was there, except for Suwei and Amandy cause they were wearing heels. WE DID THE ULTRAMAN DANCE ON STAGE AND WE TOTALLY OWNED IT. Everyone was following our dance. EVERYONE. WE OWN YOU POPPING LOCKING BREAKING. Had my spot put later after the dance competition and Tug of war was on the same day too. We had a Form 5s Tug Of War after everything ended. Science vs Commerce. It was unfair. Commerce was full of big people and Science has more skinny people. And so we beat them by our strategy. When they pull, we let go. When they fall down, we pick up the rope and PULL. Damn we're awesome. More photo sessions after that. I miss that day :(
Oh and lastly, a BIG thanks for Phoebe and Weng Fai for choreographing the awesome dance. And also to NAVIAN, my dance partner :D We rock, partner.
SPORTS DAY '11, 30th April
This year it was held in Bukit Jalil MSN Stadium. I am SO GLAD 'cause it's like 5 minutes from my house. Means I don't have to go to school early like last year to get to the stadium. Last year was in UPM (or UKM, I forgot). This year, well, because of the sports for all, everyone has to go for every field event during sports rehearsal. We get 2 points for every event IF we pass the minimum requirement. I passed everything except for running. I HATE RUNNING!! Okay so this year I'm kinda the co-captain for March Pass. I love my top hat :D Only me and Jiaying wore a top hat. And my wand was golden. A-W-E-S-O-M-E. My cape was black too. We got 3rd for March Pass, WHICH WAS A BIG SURPRISE!!! We made a mess cause of the confetti and I thought we were gonna get penalized till we have negative marks. Harimaus got 1st overall for Sports Day :) Oh and we had a picnic IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRACK before they announced the results. We celebrated by dancing Ultraman Dance in the middle of the field. It was EPIC. After that I had a small BBQ at my house, a kind of house warming? Cause I didn't invite any Cempakans over during the house warming, so I made this BBQ a house warming for them. Amanda didn't come. It was fun. Most of them bathe at my house. It drizzled a bit but then it stopped just in time for photos. Ding and Suwei slept over at my house, and so did Khay Wenn. We chatted till 3am and went up to my room. OH YEAH and Weng Fai brought the Tequila he and Suwei bought when they went Phuket for the diving. Half of the bottle was finished that night. The bottle is still with me, though. We walked to Mamak for breakfast the next day.
FAI'S BIRTHDAY, 13th May.
His birthday is actually 15th of May, but because our VIP, Chan Loch Yeen, was going to China on 14th, we had to make it on a Friday. We went to Mid Valley to celebrate his birthday. Dinner at TGIF. Me, my bro, Qian Er, Fai and Lochy waited for May Shuen but then she was so late, we had to finish everything and just meet her up for the movie. Fai was quite high that day. He was shouting a lot. Finally we have a full family portrait. IN POLAROID. There was another table celebrating a birthday and the TGIF staff were doing their typical birthday thingy. Fai was like "Don't you dare do that to me". But then, after he said that, the TGIF staff took out the birthday cake and he was COMPLETELY STUNNED. The lady was like, Oh then you must be the birthday boy. Fai was forced to shout "HEY EVERYONE, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY" to the whole restaurant and if he failed to do so, he has to stand on the chair throughout the whole celebration. He got all blushed up like a tomato. Damn funny, I tell you. We laughed till our stomachs hurt. Was so full, we had a hard time finishing up the cake. We went for THOR later, and it was a super show. I NEED A HORSE! Fetched Lochy back and on the way back Shuen called and said she needed the ride home, and so my bro U-turned back to fetch her. The guard at Lochy's house was being, I dunno, LC? He was gonna hit the Van driver before us. Made the traffic stuck because of him. Stupid, wasted like 10 minutes waiting for them to settle their problem. By the time we reached home, it was already midnight.
Okay so after that there's nothing much, except for a bit of drama in school. Mid-year was dreadful. It was the first time EVER I studied so hard for an exam. I kinda lost it the night before Bio. Was feeling so stressed and tired, mostly because of the Confined Water Training for diving. I was like studying till late night, WITHOUT nagging from my parents. I don't know what got to me. I was crazy. Oh and 21st May was Suwei's Party :) The first party I went in Cempaka. Her birthday was combined with Suli's birthday and her elder sis's farewell. I wasn't feeling well during the party and was kind of having a hard time. I don't remember much from it.
SUWEI'S BIRTHDAY, 27th May.
Suwei's Birthday :) Last day of Mid-year. I only have Maths paper 1 and they have Accounts that day too. I finished up the video while they were having accounts. Showed it during Lunch in CLASS with the projector. Was a bit of a fail surprise cause she saw it before we showed it. We went to Mid Valley after school, STRAIGHT after school. Went for Yogi Tree, then Bowling, then Sushi Zanmai, then Movie. Watched THOR (again). Suwei had a "cramping sensation". She had leg cramps when we played bowling, and when we walked to the toilet. She just fell on the floor and there we were, massaging her at the toilet entrance. Vincy, Bling, Zhung Faye and Weng Fai came to her rescue later and Weng Fai stretched and massaged her at the FEMALE WASHROOM ENTRANCE. It was weird, no doubt. And every single person that passed by was staring at us with the "what the f***" look. Oh well, at least it's a memorable day for Suwei :) Happy Birthday again, dear :)
28th - 30th May SILVER DIVING EXPEDITION TO PULAU PERHENTIAN.
Suwei and Weng Fai was supposed to join this expedition. But then the both of them couldn't make it, so it was only me and my buddy, Khay Wenn (aka Bling). Xiong went on this trip, too. It was nice. We stayed in Flora Bay Resort. My roommate was Le Faye. Our instructor was Ms Sabriya. For the both nights, Bling and I walked down the beach to get reception and we called our parents and Suwei. We talked on the loudspeaker with Suwei for more than an hour. The stars were amazing. Bling was fiddling with his camera for the whole 2-3 hours on the beach. A fish bit me when I was diving. We saw sharks, stingray, box pufferfish and more. Bling and I took A LOT of photos, to make the both of them jealous. And so we got our license :) "You are now talking to a certified open water diver". The last dive was with Bling, MY BUDDY! Took a lot of pictures and we did the ULTRAMAN DANCE underwater. How cool are we..? Camwhore underwater. How cool are we..? The snorkle test was seriously sickening. I puked, literally. They mixed, what, chocolate milk with veggies and fruits with chilli sauce with pepper with coca-cola and I don't know what else. It was BAD. They poured all over and my hair caught the liquid. Went back and showered IMMEDIATELY. We bought chocolates as souvenirs for our friends back in school.
AND NOW..
On Thursday (2nd June) I got my letter. My AFS letter for the interview. I literally SCREAMED. I thought they weren't gonna entertain my form. It was incomplete and when we took the left out form to the office, I thought they were just gonna put it aside. I was scheduled for 10th of June in SMK (P) Pudu. I cried on the phone when I was talking to Vincy and Amandy. I was laughing, laughing then I cried. FIRST TIME, tears of joy. Weng Fai got his letter the next day, but he was scheduled for Tuesday, in Shah Alam. And then later I got ANOTHER letter saying that I have to go for the interview on Tuesday in Shah Alam, too. Apparently my name was in both namelist but I have to go according to the school address. You couldn't believe how nervous I was with this and stressed, too.
Monday (7th June) We went Shangri-la for the prom thing. But in the morning I went to school to see Pn.Aimi but she wasn't around, so picked up Vincy and went to Pavilion. Ate, walked around and then sat in Snowflakes. Updating each other about things in school and Bling arrived. Went to EAT again, and then just window shopped. We spent quite some time in the DC superheroes shop. After that we walked to Shangri-la and met Ding, Ching Yong and Jit Kian on the way. We reached Shangri-la JUST IN TIME. After discussing, Zi Ling's mom belanja-ed us in the pastry shop in Shangri-la. THANKS AGAIN, AUNTIE!! Went home while discussing the interview thingy with Weng Fai, and I was so tired, I off-ed everything by 9.30pm. Slept around 10.30pm or something.
THE NEXT MORNING.
8th June, 2011. The Day.
Met up with Weng Fai there. The place was Jabatan Pelajaran Selangor or something. We met Sammy, who is also from Cempaka, but in international, there. I met E Hong there too. Apparently he signed up for 8 weeks in Italy. The wait before the interview was FUN. There was no sign of nervousness actually. The AFS volunteers made it so relaxed and fun. We played games and got to know almost everyone there. The epic one was "No water in toilet, grab your toilet tissue first" and we were supposed to tell 1 thing about ourselves for every tissue we took. Then after that was the funky chicken, then we were separated into 5 groups. My group leader was Ismael (aka Izzy). He went to Egypt for the year program 2 years back. He told us everything we kind of need to know if we get selected. He spoke a few arabic sentence to us, too. He's funny, and looks like Kev Jumba. My interview was kind of a disaster, but....AIHHH... It's over already, don't wanna think about it too much..We played the EGG throwing thing like we did back in form 3 after PMR. Wrapped it in balloon and newpapers and masking tape, and threw it. If it didn't break, then we win. But ours broke, unfortunately. Had to do the Mississippi dance in front of everyone. After that was the drawing thing. Then after that was a Q & A session. Weng Fai drove to the mamak after it ended, and my mom joined us there. When we finished eating, we saw the group of AFS Volunteers pulling up. Izzy and Nicholas were asking "Are you 2 siblings?" and we just played along and said yes. HAHA.
Wednesday was my undang test, FAILED IT. 40/50.
Thursday, which is today. Went to Yih Herng's house with Yoon Teen to do the BM thing. His house is HUGE. The BM thing was a bit of a fail. But, okay la, can survive la.

Games Carnival '11
The last week of March till the first week of April. Games Carnival '11.

I signed up for Table Tennis, Softball and Frisbee.
The schedule goes like this:
On Sunday midnight, I got a phone call asking me to go for tennis because there was not enough players, and I have to just show up so we don't have to forfeit the match. And so, I went for tennis on Monday with no experience whatsoever. I've never even touched a tennis racquet before and I'm expected to play. First match was with Seladang and I was in girls doubles with Savira. We lost =P, but overall we won Seladang and had to face Helang in the finals. We kinda forfeited the match to Helang 'cause we had to walkover my match (my partner went home ==), but 2nd place is much much much better than I expected. I thought we would get last.
I didn't play anything on Tuesday, just cheer, and cheer, and cheer, and lepak. Went to the art gallery and got paint on wrist which looked like I just attempted suicide =P managed to fool A LOT of people.
Played table tennis on Wednesday. We won Beruang in the first match and had to face Seladang in finals. I was playing 1st Single and 2nd Double. I played against Moon in the finals and it was an exciting game. She won the deuce on the first game, and I won 11-9 on the second game, and she won the deuce on the third game. We lost in the 2nd Single and 1st Double. Had softball training after school which was quite nice.
Played softball on Thursday. It was fun, but we lost in the first game. We lost to Beruang. We were really disappointed but at least we won Helang for the 3rd place. The winning point was score by Jiha, where she caught the ball and the whole Helang team was out. Navian belanja-ed us drinks after that.
Played frisbee on Friday. Was against Helang in the first game but we lost. We had to face Seladangs for 3rd place and I get to play against Su and Amandy. HAHAH it was the funniest game. Amanda was like "CHENG I BLOCK YOU" and I said "I don't let you block" and ran away. We won them fair and square. It was a nice match and we were hugging after the game. We cheered for Helang in the finals. All three houses supported Helang and not Beruang. After the game, when it's almost 3.30pm, everyone splashed water around and I was splashed by Farah. I was just passing by and she just splashed water on me. Water fight =P got my whole body wet. Hugged a lot of people just to make them wet too =)
When I got home on Friday, I found out that I'm actually playing chess on Saturday. Ish. So, Saturday I had to wear formal attired to go to school and play chess. I got 2 checkmates, once against Helang and Beruang. It was a draw between me and Yannie. Got bronze for the game.
I got super darker this GC. I love it and honestly I became friends with a lot of people =) Sports ftw.

My birthday
1st of March 1994. The day someone awesome was born.
FYI, I'm talking about ME, not Justin Bieber. I found out that I just happen to be born on the same day as Justin Bieber. *shocking*
Anyways.
I won't say this is the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER, although it is, but I feel that it has no point saying this. Every year I quote the same thing. So I'll just say, it is ONE OF THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER.
Seriously.
28th February, I had lunch in KFC with my ex-schoolmates. Ying Fang, Mindy, Yi Pei, Alex, Qiang, Chong Yann, Baby, Hiap Shang, Xiang Hui, Ah Blur, Yuen Sum, Boon, Wen Chung, Wuan Di, Sue Yee, Chee Keen, Yeung Ang came for the lunch/small party. It was funny looking at a bunch of SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD boys playing on the playground. I received a card, with all of 5H's student's signature on it, and I LOVE it. I also received a couple of presents from Mindy and Ying Fang and Yi Pei. The cake was nice too, but I didn't get to eat it. Funny, right? xD We had lunch for FIVE hours, and within the FIVE hours, we were talking about scenarios and incidents that happened since form 1. Oh, I love them so darn much. Thank you guys for everything.
1st March, the Official day. Received a lot of birthday wishes, and few of my friends were repeating and I appreciate it. Went to school early in the morning with the van and Jiaying remembered my birthday! Was really surprised. After that went to class, and I was rushing Chemistry notes. Suddenly the whole class started singing Happy Birthday to me, Wei Kei's idea. I had totally NO IDEA. I was so touched by it. WMD was that day and I saw BOTOX FACE =D Thank you BOTOX FACE XIN LI for the silly bands =D They're gonna be my good luck bans now. Lunch time, something fishy happened. Suwei was suddenly forcing me down to the canteen, saying she was unusually HUNGRY that day. Apparently, they had a surprise for me. There was cake and a present. A WONDERFUL present, I might add. The cake was Tiramisu, which was quite delicious. The present, oh my goodness. Suwei and Amandy had almost everyone I knew in form 5 to write down birthday wishes to me on a piece of small card and stalked my facebook for my photos then printed them out. They put everything in a box and it was a Birthday Memory box. I almost cried. This, was the first time, my birthday was so given attention. I am seriously touched. I didn't read the cards in school cause I WILL cry out. So I read them in the van, where almost everyone is asleep, 'cept for Jiaying. Was reading and reading, suddenly saw an unexpected wish. Oh My God, the troubles Suwei, Amandy and Vincy went through to get THAT wish for me. My love for them is multiplied by 100 now.
Thank you everyone for the wish, thank you SMKBBSP friends for treating me as part of the family although I left, and thank you Suwei and Amandy and Wei Kei for the awesome surprise.
All my love to you =D

Swimming Gala '11
Again, my first and last swimming gala in Cempaka.
I didn't attend last year because of Saxon's Chinese New Year Concert. So, this year, I had to attend the swimming gala to know what it's like.
I missed out the registration form for the school transport to CILC. I had to make mom and dad fetch me all the way to Sepang. Turns out that our car was a lot faster than the school bus even though we left later than them. I did cheer for Harimau, but I also did went to Seladang's corner to hang out with Su and Amandy and Moon and Vincy. LOL it was super fun there. Gabriel was there to pose and joke around with us. We kept perasan-ing about how hot we are. Ga Luoh was there, too. We also went around looking for people we met in CVIC and BATB to take photos with them. I managed to find Jazmyn, my Moo Luck and Justin. Missed them so much. Saw Emma and Beatrice and Amanda there, too. I bought new nerd glasses, which were made of glow sticks. Ga Luoh took my glasses and acted like a nerd, which he did very SUCCESSFULLY, but not as successful as Vincy. They were like "I-I-I didn't d-do my c-c-chemist-t-try ho-o-omework" xD
I bought a lot of useless stuffs actually. Wanted to find Vincy's "prey" but we failed. Poor Vincy. I took Moon's place in the school bus home after the event ended.
I had fun. Loads of fun =)
P.S. : Harimau got 2nd in Swimming Gala. Seladang was 1st and Beruang 3rd and finally Helang.

CVIC '11
CVIC '11. AWESOME!
It's the last school production that I can join. This is my first and last CVIC and last year was my first and last CBOP.
Although we don't have the full ass family here, I still feel the Orchestra Love. We have a new trend this time, BOTOX FACE Cx. And instead of Annoying Orange, we have Yeng Kerng doing the Beatbox this time.
Went to school at around 10am and goofed around backstage with Vincent and Jun Ho and Stephanie. We had a small "Backstage Musicals : The Stairs" which was totally epic. As usual, soundcheck wasted a lot of our time. After a short practice ourselves and with the vocal ensemble, we went for lunch. Xin Li and I created a new retard run. We RUN from the hall to the office, and then SLOW DOWN just right in front of the office and act all innocent, and RUN again after we walk pass the office. I love my retard partner. After lunch I went back and continued my CONTOH KARANGAN. It's endless, I tell you. After lunch we did rehearsals again, and a tech run, then a full run. I forgot which "run" did Dato' came in. 4.30pm was our free time. Changed and went to CPAC to play COD!! But in the end, Vincent and Beatrice stole my Mac and I didnt get a chance to have a noob match with Xin Li. We had a little of Dominos, thanks to Mee Hun who bought it, but there were too many people to share with. Dinner was funny, with Kevin and Xin Li and Andrew and Li Jin to talk about their Bio teacher and Emma about her Maths teacher. After dinner was camwhore moment and COD continues. There was also a sorta JAM session in CPAC. Right before the show started, we went MAD in the hall. Was doing BOTOX FACE and laughing out like mad thanks to Vincent. Gabriel was doing his "part time job" as a rocker and Vincy was *as usual* xD Kevin was playing with the mini balloon and got scolded lol. When they opened the door, we orchestra were already on the stage, but we were still goofing around. The show started late with a NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY ad which was super duper hilarious. CVIC only lasted about 1 hour plus? Wasn't as long as I expected. Met up with Qi Shaun and Jazmyn after the concert and I was COMPLAINING my lungs out to Qi-Shaun about not being here in orchestra. Said goodbye, hug a few people =) and packed my things and went home.
OH on my way to CPAC to get my violin case, the Prince of Negeri Sembilan was in the lobby and we were scared to go inside. After some time we just went in and took a bow and ran straight up to the room =D. The soloists had to introduce themselves to the Prince, including Andrew and Emma. Must be stressful?
I loved that day. I would do anything to relive that moment. Photos will be posted in Facebook =D

School, so far.
Well. I enjoy school the most when you don't have to be in class =)
I'm dead serious.
Okay. I have a draft about school after 3 weeks since school started. I was writing half-way and I was so frustrated I couldn't continue. I kept smashing on my keyboard. I read it just now and I noticed how much I swore in that post. And so, I couldn't post it.
Well, to update this blog, I'll start with what I thought of school during the first few weeks, mildly.
Form 5 is a drag. I've never been so stressed about my academics. I was stressed in Form 2 but that was because of prefect stuffs. This year, it's all about my results and SPM. I hated the fact that I get easily distracted when I'm studying. My mind won't be there. I could be staring at my book and thinking about something far far away. My mood was off last few weeks. I'm sorry if I let out my anger on you guys. Homework was getting harder and increasing and my free time is decreasing.
Well, last year in school, and the Cempaka Voices In Concert is the last school performance I can join. I want to join production this year but NOOOOOO I have to study. So, this is my FIRST and LAST time to join this CVIC.

What can I say? It's just as fun as production, no kidding. If the rest of the asses were here, the ones from Damansara and the ONE from SRI GARDEN (yes you, LIAND), it would be a TOTAL BLAST. I miss the ass family. Orchestra's nice, but it's boring when we have to do sound check. Sitting beside me is Yeng Kerng, AGAIN. I need Qi-Shaun so badly. He's the only one who can control Yeng Kerng from telling bad jokes. This time, he's beat boxing. Oh Mai Gawd. Yeng Kerng.
Oh yeah. This time there are more people from my form to join =) Vincy joined the vocals and Hao Zhi and Jun Ho joined the band. At least I have people to skip classes with me. It's nice having them around and we're rushing our 8 contoh karangans together =D
Tomorrow's the concert and last rehearsal. After that, no more skipping classes with the excuse "orchestra". No more noobing around with my noob partner XIN LEEEEE. Gotta live the moment. Gonna snap pictures wherever I go.
BTW. Vincent fell down today =D and shouted MY ASS in the hall =D NICEEE =D
